In the current world we live in there is more outrage over plastic straws in the ocean than our children that go missing everyday. Where is the outcry? Who is their voice while they lay crying in the dark? The atrocities these children endure should have everyone in an uproar. But, they are forgotten, lost among the shadows. They are a trend when it gives bored housewives' a purpose to feel they are doing something. How about actually, I don't know, DOING SOMETHING. Something more than making them a hashtag or a fleeting project to make yourself feel more important? If more people would spend time in the 'woke' culture bringing attention to and calling out these horrendous crimes, we could actually gain some ground. The people who commit such crimes count on these things being washed over or forgotten after the next cycle of news flies by. As long as nobody is looking, as long as nobody cares and remains self involved the perpetrators can continue and will......
